October 27- 31

We had a super week learning about the letter "U", pumpkins, and fire safety.  Our friends from Ridgeland Fire Department came and taught us about fire safety.  They let us get inside their truck and gave each of us a fire hat!  We also made a spooky Dracula jack-o-lantern and roasted the pumpkin seeds!

Next week we will be learning about the letter "C" and talking about friends.  We will talk about our best friends and how we should treat our friends.  We will make more fun Halloween crafts as well.

Don't forget that Friday, October 31st is our field trip to Turpin Park for our Halloween party.  Students may wear jeans and a fall colored t-shirt.  All students must bring a bagged lunch and a drink on the trip.

Also, THA will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween evening.  It will begin at 5:30 and end at 7:00.  There is a home football games that night and the Booster Club will be having their annual Silent Auction.  Please come enjoy the festivities and help support our school!
